ROCHE 5
EMBEDMUSIC presents ROCHE 5 electronic music from 1981.
Darren Moss started making electronic music producing a series of lost tapes under the name ROCHE 5. Armed with a ROLAND SH101 a DRUMATIX 606 and a CASIO MT40 and a desire to make music for a bleak hedonistic electronic future
Presented here are some of Roche 5 early years electronic music experiments. The compositions were played/mixed onto cassette tapes recorded live with overdub bouncing between a stereo music centre and a boom box. The ROCHE 5 electronic music collection was rediscovered recently and has now been digitized and mastered. A selection of these unknown unreleased early electronic productions are presented below for the first time.
